Hey! I’m Kurt. Thanks for taking time to visit my blog.

Out of high school I studied architecture, lived on a remote island in Indonesia for two life-changing years, became a primary school teacher, and also spent five years as the Youth and Young Adults Pastor at Hills Baptist Aldgate in the Adelaide Hills, Australia.

I now work with the team at the Canberra Declaration and as a freelance writer, I contribute regularly at the Spectator Australia among other online publications.

I love speaking the truths of Jesus into the public square in a way that makes sense to a secular culture and that gives other Christians courage to do the same. Among my other interests are philosophy, history, surf, the outdoors, and travel.

I hope you’ve been helped, challenged and inspired on your visit here.

May God give you the courage and long lasting moral strength to carry on doing what you are doing through your writing. May the Holy Spirit inspire your thoughts and guide your pen
